During the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, I want to commend you because last school year, although the COVID-19 pandemic directly has affected your learning and living, all of you have always been trying your best, being diligent, active, overcoming the difficulties, working with your families and schools to organize new appropriate forms of learning, that are effective as well as safe against epidemics and at the same time, you have achieved good academic results. I feel very happy for you!

Deputy Prime Minister took part in walks to mobilize the entire population to wear helmets for children
This is an event organized by the National Committee for Traffic Safety in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for raise the percentage of children wearing helmets when riding motorcycles and similar vehicles, creating motivation for the whole society to do the same.
Speaking at the campaign, the Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh affirmed that providing care and education for children and young people is the duty of the entire Party and people as taught by Uncle Ho. Therefore, the walk is an act of mobilizing of the entire population to wear helmets for children and demonstrating the unified will of the society. The Deputy Prime Minister urged everyone to take concrete action to ensure the safety of children, especially when in traffic by wearing helmets for children when bring them to scholl.
“This act demonstrates the love and strong commitment of the whole society to protecting lives and health care for the future generations of the country, joining hands to prevent losses and repel bad pain caused by traffic accidents”, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized.
Over the past years, the Party, the State and the political system, the entire people have made great efforts to raise percentage of children wearing helmets.
In particular, the program "Keep full dreams together" by the National Committee for Traffic Safety and the Ministry of Education and Training presented helmets to grade 1 students has contributed to increasing the rate of children wearing standart helmets around 70% and aims to reach the 80% target by the end of this year.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, despite the good results, every day on the road one can see many offensive images. That is students who do not wear helmets when riding a motorbike or electric bicycle; many adults carry children on motorcycle without helmets in front of the traffic police and not being prompted or sanctioned; there are even teachers, who do not wear a motorcycle helmet to go to school in front of the students' eyes…
Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the actions causing risks of accidents to children,must be corrected, overcome and stopped. “First of all, it is required that the functional forces, especially the traffic police, strictly comply with Decree 100 of the Government, according this, all acts of violations of traffic rule and safety regulations, especially transporting children without helmets when riding a motorcycle, motorbike or electric bicycle should be fined harshly. At the same time, all levels, sectors, unions, especially the education sector must promote propaganda and advocacy for the building of traffic safety culture for children, taking children as the driving force for building traffic safety culture for the whole commune. Adults and teachers must be the role models for children to follow ", said Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh.
Deputy Prime Minister also asked students to actively study, learn and practice to master and comply with traffic safety laws, build their own traffics safety culture, that would be their belongings to go to the future. Deputy Prime Minister launched the campaign and called on grandparents, parents, everyone to commit to "Wear helmets for children."
Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thanh Phong pledged that the city will make better efforts to improve the efficiency of implementing mandatory helmet regulations for riders on motorbikes, mopeds, electric bicycles.
In the upcoming time, the city will promote propaganda to mobilize the entire population to strictly abide by the mandatory regulation of wearing helmets especially wearing a standard and proper helmet for children when riding motorbikes and electric bicycles, enhance propaganda and education on traffic safety laws in schools with a focus on raising awareness of observance of the law on traffic safety, guiding skills to join in safe traffic.
Mr President Nguyen Thanh Phong also suggested functional units and branches to increase patrols, propaganda work, to remind parents, students, and students to comply with traffic safety regulations; to strictly handle acts of violating the regulations; promote solutions to ensure traffic safety in front of the school gates and surrounding areas, at the same time, require schools to organize signing commitments with students' parents to comply with the regulations on wearing helmets when bringing children to school by motorcycles, motorbikes, electric bicycles.
According to the National Committee for Traffic Safety, from 2012 up to now, with the political system and the entire people to take part in campaign, traffic accidents have decreased continuously in three criteria: the number of accidents, the number of deaths and number of people injured.From nearly 12,000 deaths of traffic accidents each year, by 2018 this number has dropped to more than 8,200.
Celebrating Vietnam Stage Day 2020
After the Thurified Ceremony to commemorate the merit of the theater’s ancestors who founded the nation's theatrical art, the different theaters and artists performed elaborately staged art program, converging traditional art forms. Opening a new tourist route in Phu Yen
On September 26, on the occasion of World Tourism Day (September 27) and in response to the Vietnam tourism stimulus program, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen province held the opening ceremony of the Van Hoa plateau tour. VFF is a member of AFC's Senior Youth Football Development Program
According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Asian Football Federation (AFC) has conferred the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) with the AFC Elite Youth Scheme full membership status (AFC Elite youth scheme). The program aims to improve playing standards and increase the possibility of success at the top level, develop young football talents. Accordingly, AFC recognizes and supports member associations in the development of youth football programs and star-level youth football training academies. Along with that, AFC has recognized PVF Youth Football Center as a 3-star standard youth academy. This is the highest level in assessing the quality of the young football training system in Asia.
National Jujitsu Championship 2020 opened
On September 26, at the Gymnasium of Thua Thien Hue Sports Center, the General Department of Gymnastics and Sports cooperated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue province to open the 2nd National Jujitsu Championship - 2020. Nearly 100 athletes from 10 provinces, cities and branches nationwide will compete in 28 sets of medals in men's and women's events in 14 weight categories; in which men from under 56 kg to more than 94 kg and women from less than 45 kg to more than 70 kg. Jujitsu (Martial Arts) is a traditional Japanese martial art that was introduced to Vietnam in 2009 and currently has a large number of athletes practicing and competing at a high level. The tournament will take place until September 28.

“On the 75th Traditional Day of the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Sector, I cordially offer my dearest regards and best wishes to all the cadres, civil servants, and employees working in the sector.
Immediately after the success of the August Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh issued Decree No.41-SL on the establishment of the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Sector. Over the 75 years of construction and growth, the cadres, civil servants, and employees of the sector have been present in all parts of the country, from borders to remote islands, significantly contributing to the fight for the national liberation, reunification, construction and defence.
Nowadays, the sector is gradually approaching the advanced scientific and technical level, giving timely meteorological and hydrological warnings and forecasts, contributing to the efficiency of the work of natural disaster prevention and combat, and in response to climate change, for the safety and happiness of the people as well as the country’s sustainable socio-economic development. Acknowledging these great achievements and contributions, the Party and State have presented the Ho Chi Minh Order and many noble awards to the sector. On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, I warmly congratulate and commend the efforts and great contributions made by the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Sector over the past 75 years.
Currently, our country is entering a new stage of development, while at the same time facing many serious challenges due to climate change and the increase and complexity of extreme weather, as well as hydrological and marine phenomena. In the context of the country’s geography stretching from North to South with various climatic conditions, and being affected by natural disasters and extreme weather, the sector should continue to promote its traditions, knowledge and experience, while at the same time taking advantage of the scientific achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in order to provide timely information, meteorological and hydrological data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, continuity, reliability, effectively to serve the country’s socio-economic fields.
I also request Party committees at all levels, local authorities and the people to continue to pay attention to creating the conditions for the Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Sector to successfully fulfil its tasks. I believe that the sector will overcome all difficulties, unite and work together to well perform all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Party, State and people./.
