Revealing the referee to catch the match between Vietnam and UAE

The Iraqi referee Ali Sabah Adday Al-qaysi will take charge of the "final" match of Group G between Vietnam and the UAE.

According to information from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), referee Ali Sabah Adday Al-qaysi (Iraq) was appointed to start the match between Vietnam and the UAE in Group G of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Accompanying Mr. Ali Sabah are two assistants Hayder Abdulhasan Ali Ubaydee and Ameer Dawood Hussen, both Iraqis. In addition, the fourth referee (the table referee) is Ammar Ebrahim Hasan Mahfoodh (Bahrain).

Referee Ali Sabah was born in 1977, became a FIFA referee at the age of 25 and has a lot of experience in international tournaments. Most recently, he was the moderator of the match between the UAE and Malaysia on June 3. Mr. Ali Sabah is a person who is quite "familiar" with Vietnamese football when he used to catch the match U23 Vietnam lost 0-2 U23 Australia in the 2016 Asian U23 group stage.

Two years earlier, this referee also controlled the match where Vietnam won 3-0 against Laos in the group stage of the 2014 AFF Cup. At the same time, he was the fourth referee in the matches Vietnam drew 2-2 Indonesia. (AFF Cup 2014), won 1-0 Kyrgyzstan (ASIAD 2014) and won 7-1 Macau (2014 World Cup qualifiers).

The match between Vietnam and the UAE in the "final" match of Group G will take place at 23:45 on June 15.
